Im thinking of moving lo L.A. From Australia to make it as a musician ?
Im
Year 12 atm and im a singer/songwriter. I am going to save up the money
and move to l.a with my friend ....i will probably be 18 by that time.
Do you think this is a good idea ?

Honestly, I think Youtube would be a better choice these days! There's
been more stories of young musicians being scouted on youtube then ever.
That way you can start now and save your money!! Good luck!

hate that scene. You wont make it. Dont let songs inspire you. Who
knows. Mayeb. But your throwing your life away for that? Hahah, right.

umm i am not sure how
good you are. I think you should have a back up plan incase it doesn't
work. If you keep working hard and, get people listening to you you
might get a deal. Yes L.A. can be dangerous in parts, anywhere can
really just be sure you are making the right decision and, have
researched where you are going to live very well.

full of wannabe musicians anymore,To much competition there,Besides
most record producers are looking in other areas these days.Yes Los
Angeles can be a very dangerous place to live.You better have some real
money if you want to live in any decent safe area.Any small one bedroom
apt is going to run at least in the area of 1500 per month.
