easy ways to make money for summer trip?
i was invited to go to Australia next summer as part of the People to People program, and i'd really love to go. the main, and really the only, problem is money. i play sports during the whole school year, and my parents won't let me get a job on the weekends. so basically, i need some ideas on how to get money? we're not just talking hundreds of dollars, the trip's probably like 6,000 bucks or so. i definitely need to start saving. no stupid ideas please. thanks in advance! :)

hey congrats, i was also invited to that program to ,but mine was in washington d.c. im also way younger than u because by law i cant get a job. lol u can start bye getting a weekend job. and on the side u can have small jobs like babysitting or dog walking hope i helped>3

Hey, I'm 13 yr old and I live in Australia. I'm saving up for a laptop that I want and I want to get the laptop as soon as possible. Could you suggest some ways to make some money, nothing illegal or anything. But no baby sitting. I've heard that alot. Thanks in advance You're making me one step closer to getting my laptop.

yard work. lawn mowing raking leaves. cleaning houses.

when i was 13 the only job i could get was the paper run its crap but i got that bike! :) (i live in Australia)

Here are some free sites that allow people under the age of 18 to work for them: http://www.cashjuke.com/best-paying-gpt-sites.html On a good day I make around $50-$80, so you could prolly have enough for your laptop in a month or so. Good luck :]

Delivering newspapers should start you off.

If you're good with a computer and a good typist, you can do either transcription typing for a neighborhood Dr., Insurance representative or Lawyer (have your parents do the talking - let them vouch for your character) . You'd basically take handwritten notes and put them into either an Adobe Acrobat form or Word doc. My stepdaughter made some money doing this when she was 16. It also looks good on your resume. I wrote my own newspaper and sold it in my area from the time I was 6 until I was 12. I made about $30 a month from it, and probably could have made more if I'd put more work into it. If you start your own business, you can do pretty much anything. Think about things you like and things you are good at, and somewhere in there you will find something people will pay you to do or make. Two books to check out (try looking for them at the library, that's where I found them): Fast Cash for Kids Better Than a Lemonade Stand

hey i need some tips how to make money!?
Hello u live in australia and its summer right now! it is boiling i need some tips to make money thaty i can do, (i am 11 years old). im thinking of making a lemonade stall with my cousins and a few friends, and i dont know how to make it, when ever i try like cartoons do it comes out sickly sweet! please help me with new ideas and how to make the lemonade! thanks!

see if you can buy mix in the grocery store, we have a brand called country time lemonade its yummy! its too hard to make lemonde from scratch, and will cost you too much, you can buy mix that will work great:) Good-luck!

You can search online for lemonade recipes to try. Also search for a way to make popcorn balls. They are pretty easy to make and will help you sell more lemonade by making people more thirsty!

I also would just buy it then on sell it. Odd jobs though would make you more money. With drinks people only come to you if they are thirsty where as odd jobs people always want help with something around the house. I've read the millions of web pages showing ways to make money fast. but has anyone ever tried one that actually works? I don't want to make a millon dollars, just anything extra I can. Bare in mind - I live in Australia & not all websites etc from the US, UK , allow Australians. Cheers!
