Nice idea but I doubt there there would be much demand for rabbit fur coats, fur hasn't been fashionable for decades and even then expensive fur coats were made from rare exotic animals to give the wearer a feeling of exclusive prestige, rabbits are just common feral pests, you might just as well make coats from rats as rabbits. I couldn't even guess what it would cost to have a factory breeding rabbits and workers sitting around stitching skins together to make coats for export, even if they were being paid minimum wage I think you could probably buy an identical synthetic 'made in China' coat for a fraction of the price.

It's a good idea and would solve problems but one fur isn't much in demand any more so finding countries/people that would buy would be difficult and secondly cruelty to animals. Do you know how animals are skinned/furred? You wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy, just watch PETA videos on it (if you have a strong stomach) animal rights would be jumping up and down and would cause a lot of unrest. Personally it's clever but I wouldn't go with it. I know how they fur animals and I couldn't call to do it to any animal even if the animal happens to be feral. I happen to like rabbits too.

Solar farm , could I make money?

Solar farm , could I make money?
I'm 22 and I live in Australia, recently I have bought average on a flat piece of land. I'm just wondering if I could fill maybe half of my land with solar panels. I have heard if you don't use the power it will be sold to the government, this is where I think I could make some money. Would I? Please help.

It is true that you can sell energy back to power plants. However, solar panels would be a huge investment and it would take years to turn a profit. As well, solar panels only last about 10 to 20 years. I think if you really are interested in doing this and have a lot of money to invest into it, you should consult an environmental agency in your area to find out the legal issues on doing this and talk to power plants on how much energy you could expect from the panels and how much money you can expect to make.
2 :
slight correction you can use the power but the excess power you can sell to the national power grid, its what im planning todo as its better to get paid than to pay :) yeah wt he/she said actually you would propably be a lil bit better with a small wind farm which can be repaired easily and some people have the theral solar plannels to heat the water up on the house

Depends on many factors such as how much sun shine do you get per year? Does it snow where you live? That snow and ice would have to be removed in a way that doesn't damage the solar panel. Do you have a major power line near your house? Depending on the output of your system the average run of the mill house hold type power line may not be able to handle the load? If you have the money to set it up I wish you luck.

solar farms are expensive, put up cell phone towers, they are cheap and low maintenance

Not at this stage, there are serious problems with the system as governments haven't yet introduced effective laws. What state or territory are you in? Check with the government agency to see what the rules and regs are. I know some people are paying more money after installing solar power because it only generates during the day and they are at work during the day, and then come home at night and use electricity from the grid. It was on A Current Affair so it must be true ;-)

I live in Florida and have solar for my home. In the US if I don't use all of the energy it goes back to the electric company and I receive credit for it. Some months I owe nothing, other months I get credits and some months my bill is dramatically reduced. I've had it for two years now and it is maintenance free. The panels I have are guaranteed for 20 years and each panel sends energy independently (this means if one panel doesn't work or is shaded) all of the other panels will continue without degredation. This is MOST important. Just keep in mind that solar is costly and the "payback" takes years.

This is a business. How many successful businesses have you managed? Are you thinking that this is soooo good the you don't have to do much of anything? If that were really the case, don't you think that lots of folks would already be out there setting up solar farms and getting rich? Frankly, i seriously doubt if you'll be successful. Here in Calif, the utility is not required to pay you more than would be due on your electric bill. I expect that when home generation becomes even more widespread, even that limit will be reduced.

A good guide would be simply to look around you and see if others are doing it. There are solar farms in Germany because the economics were right for them. If there are none in your area of Australia, the financials are probably not right for such a business yet.
9 :
The greatest thing about solar power is that it will be here long after us or grand kids and many generations to come no longer worry about it. Can you believe that the sun expends 700 billion tons of hydrogen every second. That is a lot of energy. Not only that but I it is expected to keep burning for a long, long time about another 4.5 billion years. That is one of the greatest things about using solar energy for our energy needs. It is there for the long run. When you add to that the fact that it is possible to make your own solar panels then it is a win-win proposition. DonĂ¢€™t forget to look for rebates and incentives if you ever decide to install a solar system. You can start with the utilities companies.

It is a huge investment and takes a very high maintenance. Analyze thoroughly what your business plan is. Check the climate of your location, how much sunlight you can get on your location, etc. It isn't a bad idea but make sure if you have enough money, time and resources for you to succeed in this business idea.

LA Boxing or a Ballys or something. Chains like that will get you more money (plus the money you charge to give private lessons).

I would recommend taking your brother to a local SPCA to adopt a dog. Pure breeds are very expensive. A 10 year old would be happy with any breed of dog.
