Genuine ways to make money online?
Genuine ways to make money online?
I'm looking for ways to supplement my income. So far I've been using two sites... pureprofile and emailcash. They are the only sites I've found online that are easy to use, don't require an initial outlay of money (c'mon, in the real world, how often does your boss ask you to pay HIM?) and pay at a reasonable rate. Has anyone come across similar sites that are not scams (I have no problem giving you a referral if you post a GOOD link, but I won't be signing up for any sites that are obviously scams.) I live in Australia as well, so preferably looking for something either based here or is overseas and doesn't have a problem with payments made internationally etc. I already have a job, don'd mind time inefficient, as long as it's worthwhile in the end (such as emailcash.) I already have a blog, however I'm working on getting more traffic before I put adsense on it. There's no point USING google adsense unless you have a high search engine ranking.

eBay is a good option. Start selling stuff on it. It is flexible, easy to learn, and you can make good money. You can work on your schedule and do as much as you need or want to. You can fit eBay in around other things in your life.

I'd be careful just asking this question - chances are you'll be bombarded by "spam and scams" - lol. There is one blog that lists legit ways to make money online. best car to make money out of?
i was just wondering if anyone knew a car that you could buy for really cheap (like AU$500) then fix it up and sell it for more than the cost the parts needed. i live in australia so i need to know a car which is popular down here. ty in advance :)

It's probably a bad idea. Since you're asking the question you're probably an amateur and amateurs frequently underestimate how much it will take to fix a car up.

You can do that with ANY car as long as you are the one providing the labor. If you have to pay someone else to repair the car you'll never make a profit.

I would suggest you do this if your experienced in the field of auto repair, if not you might as well not since it can be expensive and probably not worth it on a $500 car.

send money to make money, illegal? URGENT?
I replied to ad on Gumtree (free ad posting site in Australia), basically they were looking for Couriers for part time job (about 1-2 hrs a day) and so i accepted. After giving away my personal details as well as my bank details to them, I was given my very first job today As a courier I received about $5k USD into my bank account, and asked me to withdraw that amount of money and send each $2500 USD to two people from Russia via Western Union. They said in the email "I sold out 4 laptops at the auction and I need your help to pay off to my customer from Russia" and then they go If WU operator ask me about the reason of my transfer say "for personal purposes only and not any kind of business or illegal activity" I cleared about $200 USD (which is more than average day worth of job) for my part of the job. That amount of money for such a simple job (sending money to 2 clients overseas) something tells me they upto no good.. His number is on private when calls me my question is if somthing does go wrong will I be sent to jail even thou I saved all our interactions on email as evidence?

First of all you sound like you fell for a scam, and really don't understand how the internet works. Bottom line is it sounds like you are involved in a money laundering business, and yes that is illegal. My recommendation is to stop doing what you are doing and go ahead and give the local law enforecement a call....maybe they can help you out! NO one would ask you to transfer that much money, even as a new client in a real/legal business.

Basically what just happened is you've had your identity stolen. 99.99...% of the time, you're dealing with a very real looking, fake check. Before you try doing something like this, did you think to make sure the place of origin existed? Time to go and have things changed... Was there a sequential address? (1234 Example Street, ______vill IL)

It's a scam and you are the fall guy. The check that was deposited to your account is likely forged. And when that is discovered, you will be on the hook for the forgery and the money. If you have not yet sent the money out, don't. Tell your "employer" you are waiting for the bank to verify the check or deposit. That should make him unhappy. The plan of the "employer" is to get you to send his cohorts money before it's discovered that the deposit is fake. Go to your bank and tell them what happened. Now. Do not wait. Ask them to close that account immediately. Expect them to call in the police. That's what you want to happen, even if it will be initially not pleasant. Any of your own money in your account may end up gone. If you do not go to the authorities immediately yourself, you will probably be looking at criminal charges and possibly jail or prison. Yes, it's that serious. You are expected to know that something like this is a cover for some sort of illegal activities. None of the emails you saved will be of much use to you, since such things are easily counterfeited also. You do not have a real name or number of any person. So you will be the one on the hook. You've given out your personal information and bank information to crooks. Expect this to be a big problem for you. If something seems too good to be true, it is.

There are two possible cons going on here:- 1 - They have sold some items on ebay or similar have taken the money and will not send the buyer any goods. The buyer has paid his money into YOUR bank account. Guess who he will be coming after to recover his money. 2 - Much more worrying from your point of view. These people have got hold of someone's internet banking details and have stolen this money from them and transferred it into your account. You then very kindly send it off to some unidentifiable person in another country. In this case, as soon as the person realises that he has had his money stolen the police will be alerted and it will be a simple case of tracking the payment to YOUR account and then very shortly after that the police will be knocking on YOUR door asking YOU lots of questions.

Why do governments spend more money to find, buy n improve technology to kill people than to make them live?
Why do governments spend more money to find, buy n improve technology to kill people than to make them live?
Whn ppl are dieing of hunger, of diseases, why does the US, CANADA, UK, CHINA, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN, VENEZULA, RUSSIA and all countries of this world where “people†of the same human race live invest for guns, warships etc. to kill and draw blood of their own race speaking a different language, religion or skin color. Is it wrth it? Why do we do it? Why do we have to let this continue? Ppl die without food, without medicine. Isn’t it time we undrstnd? Why can’t we all be like brothers and sisters and share this world together? Would it ever happen and when do we decide to make the change? Humans breathe, they eat, laugh, cry, love, understand, hate, forgive. Every human lvng and dead has done so at least 1’ce in their lives. Why can’t we make a change and for change make humanity #1? Spend so that ppl get to live longer, happily with all their material, social and spiritual needs satisfied? Why does medicare comes at a cost and bullets to heads for free? Is violence the wepon to quell violence? If I'm in a different opinion, is elimination the answer? What has happened to compassion? I don't want to foreget 9/11 but how many people killed would capture osama? Are we really there yet? Is this working? Is the world any safer? At least a bit? Now are the freaking terrorist not trying to behead others anymore? Have we stopped them? Are we effective? Am I asking too many questions? I don't belive that once osama's stopped the world would become any safer at all. I think if we try more compassion and love, kindness, forgiveness, we might stop the violence. Love and peace comes only bythemselve... through love and peace. No gun is powerful enough to bring peace on earth, no technology advance to do the trick. Peace is a decision we have to make, at heart, in action. Is billions and billions of dollars on medicare and many more on killing an answer or an illusion?....

(c) World is constantly at war. There seemingly is one threat after another of an impending war, and the only way to survive is to arm yourself. (d) Sadly, it makes better news. More people are keen on hearing about war, military, violence, and all that stuff, then good humanitarian acts.

Becuase they are run by men who MUST have bigger, badder "toys" than anyone else in the world to "prove" thier status. If Women ran the countries, more money WOULD be spent on Humanitarian issues than creating war, because women VALUE their children and aren't interested in sacrificing thier lives for the sake of lining thier pockets with the almighty dollar.

I believe that until we can learn compassion and empathy, wars will still occur. This is no easy task. It starts with teaching the young, as well as ourselves. And, it won't happen overnight. It will probably take many generations, but as the saying goes, "there's no time like the present."

The good ole U.S.A. spends billions and billions each year on medical research, presciption drugs, medical treatment, medicare, and medicaid. We have even built hospitals in Iraq. We could cure every disease known to man but if we don't eliminate the bin laden types of the world our heads will land in our laps. Is it worth spending billions more to kick the s*** out of those who want to FREAKING BEHEAD US!?!?!?! You bet it is!!
