Those cowardly thugs who attacked that Indian student would have done the same thing to any body who got in there way. The fact that the victim was an Indian had nothing to do with it he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. When those punks who did that are found guilty they will go to jail for a long time. I hope that bloke makes a full recovery. Only a small percent of Australians behave like that. The rest of us are easy going. We are a tolerant multi cultural society which is built on immigration most of us have relatives who originally were migrants.

They don't get beaten up simply for being indian. They get beaten up for saying something "clever" to the wrong person. Who says it's the Aussie boys doing the beatings? It could be some Lebanese, Greek or Croatian immigrants for all you know. In any case, there's never any smoke without a fire. The little indians probably got exactly what they deserved.
